Multi Table Tournaments

Over the last few years, the number of poker players has steadily increased, along with its popularity, in part due to tournaments such as the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour being televised.

Multi-table Tournaments have their own rules, strategies and attitudes, just like any poker variant and can play for considerably longer than Sit ‘N’ Go tournaments, which have fewer players. When you start to play these tournaments there are a few things to take into consideration:

  • Be prepared for playing for long periods of time;
  • Make sure you are comfortable and ready to concentrate.

Once the game has begun, learn about how your opponents are playing and use this knowledge to your advantage. Play to keep in the game, targeting weaker players to begin with in order to keep a good pace in the tournament and work your way up. Play accordingly to your game and its players, as every game is different and you should change the way you play to suit it.

Make sure that you have enough chips to pay the increasing blinds, as these tournaments do not offer a re-buy. It is important to keep an eye on the increasing blinds as if you lose all your chips you are out of the tournament. Multi-table Tournaments can have very large prize pools and offer the player the chance to win big money.  Multi-table Tournaments continue until there is only one winner and the further you get the more the player earns. Look out for our weekly big tournaments and special events.

It is even possible to win places in offline Poker competitions such as the WSOP. Playing Multi-table Tournaments could provide your way in to making it big in the Poker world.

The status will then show that you are registered for the tournament. The tournament will begin at the time shown in the lobby. If you really enjoy the Multi-table Tournaments, watch out for the Super Series, which offer extra value four days a week.

A pop-up box will appear on your screen when the tournament is about to begin, and once all the available places have been filled. Click on the ‘Take me to the Tournament’ button to take your seat at the first tournament table.

How Are The Prizes Awarded?

To find out the percentage payments for each place, click on ‘Tournament Information’. Once the tournament has begun, this information can be found in the tournament lobby. At the end of the tournament the winners’ accounts will automatically be credited by the system.

What Happens If I Get Disconnected During The Tournament?
