The William Hill Poker lobby looks different – what’s happened?
We have recently upgraded the lobby software to bring new features and improvements. You will still find the same games and tournaments as before, and you have the option of displaying all the details either in a new two-pane format or the original three-pane format. To move between the two, press the panel change button:

The menu tabs have also changed slightly. You’ll now find the main menu tabs at the top of the lobby screen:
My Account: now you can access your account details to update information
Options: personalise configurations
News & Offers: check new offers and information
Search Players: look for people you know to play against, see which tables they are playing
Contact Us: Send us a message
Help: FAQs and contact details
Online Support: live chat support instantly on your screen
The Cashier button and account balance information is still in the lower left side of the screen.

You can now select either real money or play money games by highlighting the relevant box in the first pane, where you choose between Cash Tables and Tournaments.

What are the new menu tabs that I can see in the lobby?
Above the information panes we have added some new, useful tabs:
View All: this takes you to the default lobby view, displaying cash table or tournament information and the main schedule.
Quick Seat: Here you will find tables with seats currently open, and can select the type of table you want to play by confirming a few choices to narrow down your search.

  • When opening Quick Seat for the first time, the top options for the first two columns are selected by default. When changing the options, options in subsequent columns will change automatically.
  • You must always select a format and game type before being able to click on ‘Seat Me’. If no other options are selected you will be taken to a random table.
  • The system will remember your previous choices and display the same ones when you open Quick Seat at another time.

My Favorites: Here you’ll find My Buddies and My Tournaments (those you have registered to play).

What differences are there in the new two-pane format?
This new-look lobby contains all the same information as the original three-pane but it’s set out slightly differently, so that when you click on a table/tournament the relevant information will be shown directly below it. Details include:

  • Names of all players currently in the table. Players either in your Buddy list, or with notes, are marked as such.
  • Funds available to each of those players.
  • Amount of money overall in the table (overall chips).
  • Waiting players’ indicator: this shows how many players are waiting to join the table. If you are in the waiting list, it will show your position in the queue. Hover over the information to see the names of players in the waiting list, to the left.

In this lobby version there are a number of new icon definitions to assist you in finding a table much faster. These new icons are shown here:

What has happened to the buy-in and fee format?
The buy-in and fees are now shown as one amount, to make the charge easier to understand. Where the tournament states the ‘Buy-in’, this is the buy-in cost and fee combined.

What changes have been made to the poker tables?
You can now deposit and play cash games in three different currencies: USD, GBP and Euros.
You can also use a brand new Auto top-up feature to top up your balance automatically while in a cash game. Set your preferences prior to choosing your game by going to Options > Table Action > Auto Top-up (cash games). Alternatively, you can set your preferences when you enter a table via a link that is shown in the pop-up message asking how much money you want to take to the table.
