Texas Hold’em Poker is highly popular and considered the standard form of Poker. It is also the favorite game of all the Poker industry stars. Whether you’re at the World Series of Poker tables or enjoying a quiet game on your study computer, this is what most people are playing.
7 Card Stud is a challenging yet enjoyable variation of Poker, consisting of many cards and many betting rounds. As such, staying in the pot can get somewhat expensive, so skill is something that takes time to acquire. Nevertheless, this is one of the poker world’s most popular Poker games.
5 Card Stud is a simpler version of 7 Card Stud in that, as the name implies, there are less cards to manage and more visible cards on the table. Whilst it may be easier, memory and patience are still required, making this the perfect mix of challenge and fun.
Omaha is a more advanced version of Texas Hold’em, featuring 4 pocket-cards and 5 board-cards, of which 2 pocket-cards and 3 board-cards must be used in the final hand. The rules are the same as in Hold’em, only a lot more proficiency is required of players to master the game.
Omaha Hi/Lo is the same game as the Omaha-High version, only that the pot is split between 2 winning hands – a high hand and a low hand. Each hand has its own rules on what can be included, yet it is possible to win them both, making it extra profitable!
Sit ‘N’ Go Tournaments start as soon as all their seats have been bought. They have no break periods and continue until a winner is crowned. William Hill poker offers a wide range of buy-in stakes which can be viewed in the “Tournaments” area of the lobby, to suit all player kinds.
Multi-table tournaments are like a combination of single-table tournaments in which all the winners must compete against one another for the ultimate title. They therefore have enormous amounts of prize money up for grabs, and are often the tourneys that send players off to major events such as the World Poker Tour.
