GCSOP II - Qualification has started  -  By Poker Boss

Due to the success of the first Gold Cup of Poker, William Hill have decided to run another festival from 8th to 16th September. The new festival runs for 9 days there are 3 tournaments a day with over $1 million guaranteed up for grabs.

As well as a daily main event there is both a pre and post event each day.

All tournaments under $100 buy in will have 12 minute levels ... Tournaments with buy in's between $99 and $500 will have 15 minute levels ... Tournaments from $500 and up will have 20 minute levels.

For MAIN events ... all of these events are also given at least 20X Starting Chips! (MAIN event Starting chips = 4500 or 20X Buy in, whichever is greater). Thus, in the FINAL EVENT we are giving players 20,000 in Starting Chips to play!

Again in this GCSOP II there is an award for the BAP (Best All round player). William Hill player The Sheikh who won the award last time round is the current champion and will be playing poker in the Caribbean Poker Classic this year.

Prizes for the BAP in the GCSOP II are as follows:

1st Place - $10,000 Caribbean Poker Classic Main Event Package, $5,000 Cash and the Golden Cup Award
2nd Place - $10,000 Caribbean Poker Classic Main Event Package
3rd Place - $4,000 Caribbean Poker Classic Lite Package
4th Place - $1,000 Cash

The main events concentrate on everybody's favourite NL Holdem and has guaranteed tournaments up to $250,000.
