Vegas coming to a close
Well with the World Series coming to a close, we are still to know who will walk away with the first prize of over $8 million. All I can report at the moment is that it will not be a William Hill client taking home the top prize. Our top finisher was eliminated on the third day when trips on the flop were beaten by a full house on the river.

Day 4 and it is Xuyen's turn to start the main event with Steve cheering her on from the Crypto lounge. Unfortunately she was unable to hit the cards she needed and was knocked out late on the first day leaving the professionals cheering on the other qualifiers.
Our Professionals Start The Main Event
Two of our three professionals started today as the tournament moved into its third day. Unfortunately it brought no luck for either Julian Thew or Steve Vladar. Before going back to the hotel, I managed to grab a few quick words with Steve.
The First Few Days In Vegas
An early start for us and it's off to Manchester airport for the 10 hour flight to Las Vegas. Although this is a long journey, it's better then going via another American airport turning it into a 14 hour trip. The flight was full of poker players, as it was the last direct flight before the big event and in fact we took a seat next one of our William Hill qualifiers.

So here we are on the eve of the departure for the William Hill team to Vegas. Along with our 3 professionals we will be writing about how our 27 players get on throughout the tournament, plus any stories that we hear along the way.
