EPT Monte Carlo - Day 3

The third day of the Monte Carlo EPT Grand Final commenced with 125 players vying for chip position in this huge tournament; and to make the money.

This is a landmark tournament in Europe, with a record breaking prizepool (Eur 8,420,000) and it's no surprise that the day on which it played down to just 39 players was a battle from start to finish.

The second start day of the EPT Grand Final, Monte Carlo saw more than a handful of last-minute registrations into this, the largest tournament in terms of prize-pool ever held in Europe. 450 players took their seats to play through, finishing after 1am, with the field nearly halved.

William Hill Bullies Poccer Tournament

The world of Poccer is becoming more and more popular, and why wouldn't it? With a few games of football in the day, followed by the excitement of a poker tournament by night, it really is the perfect 'lads' day out!

In March, William Hill sponsored the William Hill Bullies and saw them make 7th place overall on the leaderboard after both events. Not a bad end to the day after a couple of team members, including the trusty goal keeper, had to duck out at the last minute, leaving Captain Jonathan McCann scouting around for worthy replacements able to play both poker and football.

EPT San Remo Final Table

The final eight players reconvened today at the sumptuous setting of the grandiose casino San Remo to determine who would take down the much coveted EPT title. Favourite was well supported Italian Dario Mineri who returned to the felt holding the chip lead. Early on, he dominated the table with a series of raises and reraises and soon increased his already formidable chips stack.
