EPT Warsaw Day 2
One hundred and thirty players returned for the second day of the Warsaw EPT attempting to win the 1st prize of over 460K.
EPT Warsaw Day 1B
The second flight of players in this year's Polish Open EPT event numbered slightly less than the first with 168 starting the day and 61 finishing it this means that just over a hundred players will be redrawn in new seats to play down to the money (32 players) during Day Two.
EPT Warsaw Day 1A
The first day of the EPT Warsaw started with 191 runners in the luxurious surroundings of the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Casino, a venue which although somewhat less spacious than some of the other stops on the tour, is no less comfortable.
London GUKPT Final Day
Fourteen players made it back for the final day of the London GUKPT, all ready to fight for the title and the juicy £119,780 first prize. 20-year-old Londoner Tony Phillips was the chip leader, but Essex boy and Late Night Poker contender Dave Rudling, Late Night Poker finalist Maria 'Chili' Demetriou and WSOP Main Event casher Ketul Nathwani were all hot on his heels.
London GUKPT Day 1B
208 players gathered today at the historic locale of 'The Vic' Grosvenor casino, to contest day 1b at the 2008 London leg of the GUKPT tour. Several former GUKPT champions were in attendance, including the experienced Dave Colclough, bracelet-winning hitsquad member, Praz Bansi, the laconic Jerome Bradpiece, the dapper Dave Clarke and winner of the most recent GUKPT at Walsall, Jeff 'Jaffacake"' Kimber. With these tournament titans in attendance, a highly competitive and exciting day's poker was in prospect.
