EPT Dortmund Final Table
The final eight players gathered together at the Hohensyburg Casino today to contest the final of the Dortmund EPT. With young Canadian Mike 'Timex' McDonald and Diego Perez Marco leading the way, there were sure to be fireworks as the aggressive players who had made the final table matched wits...
EPT Dortmund Day 3
In a day's play which progressed at breakneck speed from the moment last night's tournament clock was unpaused, the field here at the Dortmund EPT was whittled from 32 down to the final 8. There were a few unlucky clashes which saw young players Dan Carter and Danny Ryan bust to three outers late in the day, and a lot of aggressive play all the way through it which sometimes propels players like Marcel Luske and Jan Heitmann to the final and sometimes, as today, to the rail.
EPT Dortmund Day 2
The Dortmund EPT resumed on Day 2 with 149 of the initial 411 players returning to do battle in the race to pick up the prestigious title. An attractive prize pool of over 3 million Euros awaited those lucky enough to reach the final stages with a first prize in excess of 800,000 Euros the tantalising prospect for the lucky winner.
EPT Dortmund Day 1B
The second flight of players at the Dortmund EPT event contained many a name which has graced many a final table, or poker publication. From previous EPT champions such as Andreas Hoivold, Christian Grundtvig, Roland de Wolfe and Arnaud Mattern to American stars of net and world stage, the chirpy Daniel Negreanu among them, today was a hard fought battle down to an eventual 83 runners.
