Whenever the ship is at sea the poker tournament will be taking place as people work their way towards the final table. Spend the rest of your time taking advantage of the free meals, all day room service, the best of accommodation with stunning views to sea, a small sitting area and a private balcony.
Aside from the poker tournament, there are many enjoyable activities available on board. Try out the water park, rock climbing or ice-skating. If you prefer something slightly more relaxing, enjoy the beautiful promenade or browse the four story shopping centre.
How Do I Get There?
There are two packages on offer for the cruise the $10,000 CPC Main Package and the $5,000 CPC Lite Package, details of both can be found below.
There are also satellites to the tournament running from May until October. There are MPP satellites starting an only 5 MPPs and for only $5 you can enter one of the daily satellites for the Lite package.
CPC Package Details
Regardless of whether you choose the Main or Lite package, you be on board for seven nights staying in either a Deluxe or Superior stateroom with ocean views and a private balcony. Additionally all means are complimentary and there is 24 hour room service.
There is a casual Welcome Reception from 8:00pm – 10:00pm on the 16th of November which anyone who qualifies will be invited to. There is also a Farewell Cocktail Reception on the 22nd of November to give everyone the opportunity to reflect on the weeks games over a drink
The ship departs from the Port of Miami at 4:30pm on November 16th. You are advised to be at the port with plenty of time to spare before the departure.
If you win the CPC Main Package, you are automatically entered into the Main Event, are awarded an extra $2300 in tournament vouchers and $2000 cash for travel expenses!.
Lite Package winners will also receive $2000 in cash for travel and holiday expenses.

Packages
If you win a package your account is automatically credited with $2000 for travel and expenses. You will then receive an email which contains information on how to register online for the cruise.  Should you be lucky enough to win more than one package then you will receive the full cash value of any additional packages.
If you win a package after already purchasing a place onboard, your account will be credited with the $3000 value of the cabin.
If for some reason you are unable to attend the cruise you may transfer you package to another player, cash refunds for the cruise or buy-ins are not available.

Frequently asked questions on aspects of travel and the cruise

Can I purchase a cabin?
It is possible to pay for a deluxe stateroom for two people with a complimentary meal plan using your player account. Alternatively you can do this through our travel agency, for details please contact info@caribbeanpokerclassic.com

Can I bring an extra guest on the cruise?
If you wish to bring an extra guest on the cruise, it is possible to request a room for up to four passengers at the additional cost of $650 per head including meals, taxes, surcharges and gratuities. However, please remember that the package includes a room for two with two twin beds (they can be converted into a queen-size bed)

Can I make this a family holiday and bring my children?
It is possible to have a family holiday and bring children on board, the ship has excellent facilities for children. You have the option of either sharing your room with children or purchasing an additional room. The minimum age is 6 months old.

What if I am traveling alone?
The packages are all for two, you will not be refunded any money should you chose to come alone.

Can I upgrade my cabin?
Due to the terms of our group booking, upgrades are not available; however, the package does include a deluxe stateroom.

Are meals and drinks included?
Meals are included as part of the complimentary meal plan for two at any of the restaurants on the ship. Alcoholic drinks in restaurants and bars are not included and are only purchasable by people over the age of 21.

Is Internet access available?
There are a number of pre-paid packages you can choose from onboard to provide you with wireless internet throughout the ship.

Can you arrange my travel?
The travel can be arranged using our travel agent in our online registration system.

Can you arrange my hotel stay in Miami?
As with travel, the overnight hotel booking may be paid for using our travel agent in the online registration system.

Do I require a passport?
As with all international travel, a valid passport is required. For more information please visit www.royalcaribbean.com.

Do I require a travel visa?
This depends on your nationality so please contact the Embassy (Consular Services) of each country on the itinerary to find out about visa requirements, information, forms and fees. Further information can be found at www.royalcaribbean.com.

FAQs on the tournament

When will the poker room be open?
Whenever the ship is sailing the poker room is open, it is closed whilst the ship is docked and during shore excursions.

How can I buy-in to the Main Event?
A buy-in is available for $2500+$200 from your player account, alternatively you can buy-in at the poker room using cash.

How can I buy-in to side events?
Buy-ins to side events can either be pre-purchased from your player account or paid for in cash in the poker room.

Can I withdraw funds from my player account?
It is possible to withdraw funds on the cruise depending on the internet connection. As a result, it is recommended that you pre-register for tournaments and pay for buy-ins in advance using your player account. It is also recommended that you bring sufficient cash for any ring game you wish to partake in. If you decided not to play in tournaments you have pre-registered for then the funds will be returned to your account.

Is there a dress code at the event?
It is recommended to wear clothing with the logo of the poker site you won your package on.

Can anyone play?
The poker room is only open to players (and their guests) who qualified online or bought their package directly. Other passengers on the cruise are not allowed into the poker room. All players must be at least 18 years old.
