Who is Keith 'The Camel' Hawkins

Keith claims that he fell in love with gambling in 1974 when he placed a bet on the Derby.  He placed 10 pence on Snow Knight with odds at 66/1, Snow Knight won and Keith's gambling career was off to a successful start. He began playing Five Card Draw poker at school and later began playing Texas Hold'em.

Keith's career winnings exceed $700,000 with wins around the European poker tournament circuit. In 2002 he won the £1,500 no limit Hold'em event at the Grosvenor UK Open taking the £39,000 first prize. He also regularly writes articles on poker for Card Player Magazine and The Hendon Mob's website as well as other online forums.
